While there are many ways to skin the internet marketing cat, so to speak, most businesses can benefit from a comprehensive approach that incorporates several different marketing tactics. For example, a company might use SEO to drive traffic to its website, then use email marketing to convert those visitors into leads or customers. Or, the business might use PPC ads to generate leads, then use social media to nurture those leads and turn them into customers.

Of course, not all businesses have the same marketing needs or resources. So, while a comprehensive approach is typically the best way to go, it’s not always feasible. In such cases, companies should focus on those internet marketing activities that are most likely to generate results given their unique circumstances.
